White Pine Lodge has been in operation for over 50 years. We are a drive-in camp, located on a chain of 5 lakes, the famous Scorch Lake and a short drive to Ground Hog & Horwood Lake, just 87 km west from the Home Depot in Timmins. The camp features prime hunting and fishing locations, a boat launch, and countless roads for ATV exploration. We are open from the long weekend in May until November 1st. Book your hunting or fishing trip early because space is limited!

Your days activities might include fishing, hunting, boating, canoeing, hiking, berry picking or photographing wildlife and the picturesque surroundings. You may prefer to stay closer to the camp and enjoy a game of horseshoes or the sandy beach and raft for sunbathing and swimming. In the evening, imagine sitting around a cozy campfire by the lake roasting your favourite campfire snack, telling stories, listening to the loons or just gazing up at the billions of stars (an astronomer’s paradise).

As you cross the bridge to St. Joseph Island, you become part of a serene and tranquil lifestyle reminiscent of days gone by. Heading 25 minutes south across the Island through acres of farmland and lush maple groves you will come upon Whiskey Bay Resort, one of the Island’s “best kept secrets”, located on the south shore of St.Joseph Island on the sandy shores of Lake Huron.

This restaurant specializes in Canadian cuisine. West Side Cafe provides perfectly cooked chicken poutine, bacon and hamburgers. You can taste a good fruitcake here. Great coffee is the best drinks of this place.
