Hiawatha Highlands, located in Kinsmen Park, is a premier destination for winter recreation and sport offering 50 km of ski trails, 14 km of snowshoeing, as well as fat biking trails.

In the summer and fall months, the Kinsmen Park trails transform from snow trails to walking, running and bike trails. Take in the beautiful site of Crystal Falls and the lower Minnehaha Falls. Kinsmen Park

Heritage Park Museum

The Heritage Park Museum consists of authentic displays and buildings from the area over 100 years ago. Visitors can explore the general store, chapel, blacksmith shop, drive shed, schoolhouse a pioneer home. The museum is open in July and August from Monday - Sunday. Admission is by donation which helps to maintain and expand the facility. A lovely little museum not to be missed!

Hearst Ecomuseum

The Hearst Ecomuseum is located in a heritage house and explores the origins, history and religion of the area’s Francophone beginnings. The house itself is one of the oldest in the community and was donated by the town of Hearst. Originally a private home, the house was then home to the sisters of Notre Dame du Perpétuel Secours, thus the first convent to house the Sisters of Perpetual Help.

We welcome you to come fishing at one of our remote Ontario fishing outposts that are accessible only be air.  You can Drive, train, or fly to our airbase on Carey Lake in Hearst Ontario and from there we will fly you to a wilderness outpost cabin on some of the most pristine lakes Northern Ontario has to offer. Hearst Air Service offers Ontario fly in fishing trips for families, groups, couples, and corporate groups on Northern Ontario’s untouched lakes.
