The Hearst Ecomuseum is located in a heritage house and explores the origins, history and religion of the area’s Francophone beginnings. The house itself is one of the oldest in the community and was donated by the town of Hearst. Originally a private home, the house was then home to the sisters of Notre Dame du Perpétuel Secours, thus the first convent to house the Sisters of Perpetual Help.

The Hearst Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Club is run entirely by VOLUNTEERS. This allows us to keep the membership rates at an affordable level. During the season, we invite you to give a few hours of your time in helping the Club.

Hearst Air Service offers a wide variety of fishing opportunities that will satisfy a beginner angler to a seasoned pro. We welcome you to come fishing at one of our remote Ontario fishing outposts that are accessible only be air.  You can Drive, train, or fly to our airbase on Carey Lake in Hearst Ontario and from there we will fly you to a wilderness outpost cabin on some of the most pristine lakes Northern Ontario has to offer. Hearst Air Service offers Ontario fly in fishing trips for families, groups, couples, and corporate groups on Northern Ontario’s untouched lakes.  

Our family has been providing fly-in fishing vacations for over 30 years.  We offer fantastic service with our Turbine Otter and Cessna 180.  Currently we operate 13 remote outpost camps in beautiful Northern Ontario, Canada.  Our remote fly-in wilderness locations offer walleye, pike, speckled and lake trout fishing.
