We provide a relaxed home away from home for our guests – local and seasonal, traveler and resident alike, If you’re staying with us, you can be assured of all the comforts one would expect from a boutique accommodation’s provider. Timberland Inn is located on Highway 17 East, only a five-minute drive to downtown Kenora. The Inn has eleven guest rooms – three in our original wing, four standard double queen rooms, and four rustic timber-frame studios, a few with peek-a-boo views of Lake of the Woods. Our rooms are cozy and comfortable.

The Willows RV Park and Campground is located 13 kms east of Kenora on Longbow Lake Road just 1.5 km from the public boat launch into Longbow Lake. From Longbow Lake you can portage into Lake of the Woods using the electric boat lift.

Built in 2011, the Terrace Bay Lighthouse stands as a 50 ft. replica of the lighthouse on the Slate Islands Provincial Park. The lighthouse on the Slates is currently the highest elevated lighthouse on the Great Lakes, at 224 ft.

Sunset Lodge has a long history as a premier vacation destination serving up fishing trips, hunting excursions and family vacations since 1948, then known as Geary’s Red Lake Lodge.  Established as a family business, it remains today a place for all to fish, hunt and relax. 

All of our cabins come fully equipped with complete kitchens featuring a fridge, stove, coffee maker and filters, toaster, and all necessary pots and pans. Each cabin also has a gas grill, and charcoal grills are available upon request. We have recently renovated and upgraded all of our cabins to offer the utmost in comfort, including new beds and bedding. The only things you need to bring are your bathing towels and facecloths.
