Coney Island Beach is located on Coney Island in Kenora city limits; complete with a concession, picnic shelter, jungle gym, large field and beautiful sandy beach with lots of docking.

The Coney Island Music Festival takes place the last Sunday in July! You must boat to the beach or take a shuttle to Coney.

As of 2019, the Rotary Splash Park opened at Norman Park with lake themed water attractions for all ages, including; giant cattails, arches that spray water and a giant water bucket that fills until it’s tipping point and soaks those underneath it. 

Caliper Lake Provincial Park

This quiet campground, just south of Nestor Falls features an impressive stand of old growth Red and White Pine trees.  This makes for some very secluded campsites.  The dedicated angler might catch Northern Pike, Crappie, Walleye, or small mouth bass. There is a large beach and buoyes swimming area which provides family fun. On occasion, a lucky individual might see American White Pelicans which sometimes make Caliper Lake their home.

Norman Park is located just off Lakeview Drive with the Railroaders' Museum closest to the road and park, beach and playground closer to the lake. The Sioux Narrows Bridge

The Sioux Narrows Bridge, along Highway 71, has become a symbol of this charming town. The original bridge, built in the 1930's and constructed of wooden trusses, was once the longest single span bridge in the world. The bridge became vital as it made the community  more accesssible and lead to an influx of tourism.
