Huskie the Muskie is the nickname of a 40-foot-tall (12 m) outdoor sculpture depicting a muskellunge in Kenora's McLeod Park. Husky the Muskie gained his name and slogan "Husky the Muskie says 'Prevent water Pollution" through a contest. After nearly 35 years Kenora's giant fish received extensive renovations in 1995. Husky the Muskie is the informal mascot of the city of Kenora.

In 1951, this parcel of waterfront land was deeded by the Carson and Cross families to the YM-YWCA to be used as a summer camp for youth. ln the intervening years, the Ministry of Government Services became the owner of the property. ln the early 80s, the Handicapped Action Group Inc. (HAGI) had a dream of expanding this camp into a facility that would allow disabled persons and their families to enjoy what many of us take for granted - life at the lake, swimming, fishing, boat rides and campfires.
