Built in 2011, the Terrace Bay Lighthouse stands as a 50 ft. replica of the lighthouse on the Slate Islands Provincial Park. The lighthouse on the Slates is currently the highest elevated lighthouse on the Great Lakes, at 224 ft.

Tamarack Island Wilderness Lodge is a stunning 3-acre island nestled in the heart of Lake of the Woods, to the west of Morson, Ontario. Superior North Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) is a not-for-profit corporation, governed by volunteer members and staffed by professionals. Community Futures (CF) is a national program that supports grassroots community economic development (CED) by allowing local citizens to make decisions for the benefit of their rural communities.

All of our cabins come fully equipped with complete kitchens featuring a fridge, stove, coffee maker and filters, toaster, and all necessary pots and pans. Each cabin also has a gas grill, and charcoal grills are available upon request. We have recently renovated and upgraded all of our cabins to offer the utmost in comfort, including new beds and bedding. The only things you need to bring are your bathing towels and facecloths. 

Conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Hwy 11/17 in Nipigon, Ontario Canada. 5 minutes away from downtown Nipigon and 1 hour east of Thunder Bay. Camping with all the conveniences at the gateway to the great outdoors North of Superior 45+ sites, some in wooded areas, some along Stillwater Creek, some open and grassy.
