Twin Lakes Outfitters & Wilderness Camps, based near Nakina, Ontario, offer outdoor enthusiasts the chance to experience some of the most remote and pristine wilderness in Northern Ontario. The operation features a network of 20 outpost camps on 17 different fly-in lakes. These camps are renowned for their outstanding fishing, particularly for Walleye and Northern Pike, with trophy-sized catches regularly reported. Some lakes also offer excellent opportunities for Brook Trout, Lake Trout, and Jumbo Perch fishing.

Overlooking Lake Superior, Terrace Bay is a beautiful, charming little town along the Trans-Canada Highway - home to the Aguasabon Falls, Terrace Bay Lighthouse and the Slate Islands. We're the spot for fishing, boating, kayaking and hiking on the Lake.

We are the most northerly freshwater port in North America.  With a deep water channel all the way to the fully serviced marina, boaters are invited to cross the 49th parallel and receive their certificate commemorating the occasion.

 We are upscaled and all rooms are newly renovated with carpet free. Excellent location- located heart of Nipigon on Highway 11-17. If you feel hungry, there is a 24hr food store and husky restaurant located just across of street and Tim Horton, another Dine-In restaurant, KFC, and Pizza hut located just 2 mins away from our Town and Country motel. Rooms- All rooms are carpet free and super clean. All 18 rooms feature air-conditioning, microwaves, refrigerators, flat screen TV’s come with cable channels, coffee makers and free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas.

Thunder Oak Cheese Farm is the first farm in Ontario that produces Gouda cheese. This creamy Dutch cheese has long been a favourite of cheese lovers around the world and the Schep Family has been making it in Thunder Bay since 1995. Our award winning Thunder Oak Gouda is a natural product made with fresh milk from the Schep’s own Holstein cows. There are no preservatives or added colouring in our cheese!

The Willows RV Park and Campground is located 13 kms east of Kenora on Longbow Lake Road just 1.5 km from the public boat launch into Longbow Lake. From Longbow Lake you can portage into Lake of the Woods using the electric boat lift.

Built in 2011, the Terrace Bay Lighthouse stands as a 50 ft. replica of the lighthouse on the Slate Islands Provincial Park. The lighthouse on the Slates is currently the highest elevated lighthouse on the Great Lakes, at 224 ft.
