Mattawa River Provincial Park

mattawa river

The Mattawa River once served as a key route for trappers and loggers, and Indigenous nations before that. Today, you can retrace their path with a Mattawa River canoe outing or, for the more adventurous, whitewater rafting.

Village Noel Temiskaming

Logo

If there is one word to describe the 2023 Village Noël, it would be “magical.” The new strips of lights and the snow covering the ground made the site, all that much more mystical. The school day was particularly a success, which we will never forget. The laughter and smiles of children cannot be forgotten. The biggest challenge of this edition comes down to the cold northern winds, which made some merchants run after their things. The wind also enjoyed putting out the fires, which caused us to close a bit earlier.
