Fox Haven Campground

Fox Haven is a natural haven spread across an area of more than 130 acres. It is surrounded by vast wilderness and is home to a diverse range of animals, including moose, sand hill cranes, eagles, beavers, foxes, herons, turtles, and many more. The place remains open throughout the year and has two permanent buildings, both with indoor beds. These buildings have a total of 12 beds for attendees, including seven double beds and five single beds. Both buildings are equipped with wood-burning stoves to keep them warm.

Rockport Camp offers four fully-equipped, charming country-style cottages located just a few feet away from the stunning, sparkling waters of the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. For almost 80 years now, Turcotte's Chip Stand has been frying potatoes. Now run by the 3rd generation of the family, they have perfected the art of poutine. Must be the proximity to Quebec! You'll find other delicious food truck fare like burgers, hot dogs, and a beloved spicy chicken sandwich.

Mattawa Railway Bridge

Spanning the Ottawa River, this is one of only a few examples in Canada of a very rare European-style truss bridge with arched overhead bracing and low-level top chords.

Birchaven Cove Park

A jewel of a spot in North Bay. Great for a swim in Trout Lake or just a place to sit and take in the view. There's a big parking lot and a launch for canoes.

Lichty's Marina

Our marina is nestled in the heart of North Monetville on the West Arm on Lake Nipissing. A family run business since 1966 the marina was built by Noah Lichty to fill a need for safe boat storage. Since its beginning the marina has grown and we are proud to be one of the only covered marinas on Lake Nipissing providing 34 covered dock spaces, 4 uncovered dock spaces, and 6 shore spaces.
