Bay Villa Lodge is situated along the mouth of the Whitefish Falls River, on the North Channel of Lake Huron. The area hosts an abundance of recreational and sporting opportunities. While vacationing here, you will have access to many of these great activities fishing, canoeing, kayaking, water sports such as tubing, wakeboarding or waterskiing. There are many land-based activities such as painting, photography, geological study, hiking, and sightseeing.

We have a main sandy beach known as Sunset Beach, with beautiful sunsets, a swim up dock with a gradual entry into the clear, refreshing waters of Sheguiandah Bay, Lake Huron. Sunrise waterfront is a natural lakefront setting offering breathtaking views of the sunrises, the La Cloche Mountains and a shallow swimming area in a natural lake setting with no groomed beach. Our Pull Through sites are located on this side and the main swimming area and beach is located on the groomed Sunset beach side.

Witness this feat of engineering at Lock 44 of the Trent-Severn Waterway. It works on an inclined plane to carry boats in individual cradles over a change of height of about 60 feet (18 m). This is one of only two marine railways in the world (the other is in Russia). There are large grounds for picnicking.
