Exhibits at the Dryden & District Museum feature the Dryden area's local history. The upper level of the museum features permanent exhibits. The main floor has rotating exhibits that change about every three months.

On the shore of Lake Superior, at Perry Bay, on route to the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park you’ll find a stone Sea Lion. The 15 metres of sedimentary rock that juts out of the mainland has been shaped by the waves of the Lake Superior to offer the region an attraction like no other. This site is a must-see while hiking Tee Harbour or camping at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.

The round-trip hike from the South Kabeyun Trailhead parking lot, to the end of the Sea Lion Trail, and back is 2.4km and takes roughly an hour to complete. This trail has somewhat difficult access over an outcrop, passes a pebble beach on Perry Bay, and concludes at a diabase rock arch on Lake Superior. Interpretive panels are a must-read for anyone interested in the fascinating geology of this unique formation.
Amethyst Gift Centre is a retail store and lapidary workshop which features Thunder Bay amethyst mined from Amethyst Mine Panorama.
The Canadian Lakehead Exhibition is home to Thunder Bay’s Annual CLE fair. The fair will be celebrating 130 years in 2021, and offers a wide variety of family friendly activities include midway rides, a petting zoo, children’s area, live entertainment, games, and much more. The CLE grounds is also home to the annual Home and Garden Show in the spring, Thunder Bay Gymnastics Association, Thunder Bay Country Market, Boulder Bear Climbing Centre, and Silver City Movie Theatre.
