Down Hwy 61, you will find Eagle Ridge Trout Pond which has been owned and operated for over 15 years. Here you can fish in a relaxing park setting where everyone has a good chance of catching something. This catch and release is a place where people of all ages can come and enjoy hassle-free fishing. Located in a historic building, which once served as a Police Station and Court House, the Thunder Bay Museum offers visitors six galleries of local, regional and national heritage. Galleries include the first settlers, fur trade era, silver mining, shipping, and Thunder Bay through the centuries on the main floor, a rotating display on the 2nd floor, as well as military and music on the 3rd floor.

Named after the famous explorer Edward Umfreville, the Umfreville Trail is nearly 4 kilometers of paved recreational trail.
Ojibway Provincial Park is about 25 kilometres southwest of Sioux Lookout on Highway 72 in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. On Little Vermilion Lake, the park offers swimming, a sandy beach, camping and fishing. It has trails through pine forests and along the lake's shore.
A recreation area and a centrally located beach with bathrooms, dock, outdoor stage, playground and picnic area make it a great location for any type of event.
