Located on Highway 580 just East of the Community of Beardmore, this municipal park offers visitors 125 campsites, 45 of which offer electrical and water hook-ups a wealth of recreational opportunities including swimming, hiking, boating and fishing, as well as some of the most stunning scenery the Greenstone region has to offer. Just 5 kilometers from the Park is High Hill Harbour, a docking and service station for commercial and pleasure crafts including fueling and pump out facilities.

On arrival we provide an orientation trip to ALL GUESTS on Net lake on our pontoon boat. Minnows and worms are sold at the lodge.

Pine Grove Motel is located 10-miles away from Soo Locks, 11-minutes' drive from Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and 27-minutes' drive from Sault Ste. The lake's shallow waters warm quickly in summer offering a swimming alternative to the persistently cold Lake Superior. The sand/gravel matrix of the shoreline, coupled with the past practice of importing sand, created a series of beaches and swimming areas.

The Town of Marathon owns and operates the Golf Course. Peninsula Golf Course is a traditional-style course overlooking Lake Superior. It was built in 1952 by world renowned Canadian golf course architect Stanley Thompson. The contoured and tree-lined fairways are easy to walk and makes this challenging par 72 course appealing to players of all abilities. Although it only plays at 6300 yards from the back tees, the elevated greens make scoring a challenge. The walk ability of the golf course makes it appealing to everyone. We are also a junior friendly facility.

All our cabins have strong cell service and free Wi-Fi is available at and around the library.

This year will be the first year for a community fire pit. We are very excited to bring a contained and safe space to have a campfire.
