Lac Seul is broken up into many bays and inlets where you can enjoy endless fishing for trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, and Small Mouth Bass. A rare treat to anglers is the elusive Muskie. Come watch the abundance of wildlife in our area - deer, moose, bear, and birds. You can see the eagles soar and listen to the serene song of the loon.
At the Lac Seul Lodge base camp we have 9 modern cabins and 2 modern cottages available. These are two, three and four bedroom cottages and cabins that are large and bright with two bedrooms, bathroom, living rooms, kitchen and screened veranda. In addition to our main base camp, we own two remote boat-in outpost cabins on Lac Seul. Roughing it isn't so rough at our remote boat-in outpost cabins! They are well equipped and the grounds and equipment are well maintained and clean.
We are a drive-to camp located in Northwest Ontario on beautiful Lac Seul, offering fully modernized housekeeping cabins that are located on the waterfront. All you need to bring is your own towels and food, although there are two grocery stores within two kilometers and a liquor store as well. Our fishing packages are geared to your individual needs. Kicking Mule Guest Ranch, has been a family-owned and operated business that's been kickin' for over 25 years on Manitoulin Island. From May to October, we've got 12 unique guest accommodations available, each with its own picnic table, fire pit, and sitting area. Our fully equipped outdoor summer kitchen features hot water on demand, propane cook stoves, and a BBQ grill, while our modern bathhouse boasts two individual washrooms, a shower, and an outdoor sink.
There are twenty-two kettle lakes in the area that were formed by glaciers. These lakes are deep and are fed by springs. The forest in the area is mainly Jack Pine Boreal Forest. If you enjoy fishing, you'll be glad to know that many of the lakes are stocked with Rainbow and Brook Trout, making for excellent fishing. Additionally, there are fourteen kilometers of biking trails to explore. For families, there are also interpretive programs available.
