Naturally Superior Adventures and Rock Island Lodge are located on a seven-acre peninsula of boreal forest, pre-Cambrian greenstone, and fine gravel beaches on Lake Superior. The site is adjacent to the Michipicoten River and was once the property of the Hudson Bay Company of Adventurers, Canada’s oldest business. Canada’s leading provider of sea kayak, canoe, voyageur canoe, stand-up paddleboard (SUP) trips, instruction and outfitting on Lake Superior since 1994. Specializing in non-motorized, silent sports, they are the Lake Superior Adventure Experts.

The AGA is a gem in the wilderness; its collection is an impressive permanent collection of 5,000 artworks, including works by members of the Group of Seven.
