Mille Roches Beach is the largest sand beach on the St. Lawrence corridor spanning a long arching bay. The beach features watersport rentals and an island themed snack bar.
Spread over two islands, the campgrounds of Mille Roches offer seclusion and tranquility set amidst a forest canopy of mature trees. Of 214 campsites, Mille Roches has the largest number of waterfront sites among the parks of the St. Lawrence, with 63 sites along its wooded shores.
As its name suggests, Woodlands Campground is located in a beautiful wooded setting facing Lake St. Lawrence. It boasts some of the most memorable sunsets in the area which you can enjoy from its two sandy, private beaches. Each August, its 186 campsites play host to the largest outdoor dog show in Canada!
Located just off Highway 125 between Balmertown and Cochenour on Red Lake. Rahill Beach features a well-maintained sandy beach for swimming, a beach volleyball area, and tennis courts. This park has a picnic area that includes several gazebos. Flush toilets are available on site.
Pakwash Provincial Park is located 19 km north of Ear Falls, and is home to a 1.5 kilometer long sand beach, campgrounds, nature trails, aboriginal rock paintings and over 65 species of birds.
The Market & Events Pavilion was opened in December 2019. This facility provides an inclusive all-weather venue for multiple events & activites and includes a heated change room and restroom facilities.
North Frontenac has the darkest skies in southern Ontario and it is the perfect place for star gazing. Many of us have taken for granted that the dark sky is a natural beauty and forgot, or never realized, that many people have no idea what can be seen in the heavens above at night. In 2013, the Township of North Frontenac became the first municipality in Canada to receive Dark Sky Preserve status from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
Bon Echo Provincial Park is home to the 100-metre-high Mazinaw Rock, featuring over 260 Indigenous pictographs. Explore the park's RV, car camping, backcountry, and roofed accommodations, beaches and great hiking trails from 1 km in length to 17 km in length. Interpretive boat tours are offered on Mazinaw Lake and over to Mazinaw Rock.
Silent Lake Provincial Park offers 19 km of hiking trails and 17 km of mountain biking trails, two sandy beaches, campsites as well as heated, four-season roofed accommodations (yurts & camp cabins), and more than 34 km of groomed winter cross-country ski trails.

Kinsmen Beach is also known as Keesic Beach. The long, beautiful beach on Red Lake features swimming, a picnic area and flush restroom facilities. There is a play structure there as well as a shelter for family picnics. There is also a roped-off swimming area. No lifeguards are present.
The Red Lake Anishinaabe Pow Wow is held here annually in June. What a fabulous setting for a Pow Wow!!
