The Blind River Marina is situated on the North Channel of Lake Huron with full service and excellent facilities. Also home to the Timber Village Museum and wave gift shop.
The Birchville Motel is conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Highway, one hour east of Thunder Bay. The motel will provide you with a friendly and comfortable stay, whether you are just passing through or planning on a lengthy stay in Nipigon. There are a variety of rooms available for guests, some with kitchenettes. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, TV's, small fridges, microwaves, phones and complimentary coffee, bottled water and ice. Big Water Campgrounds has grown from a small campsite to one with over three hundred (300) sites. Our expansion was needed to meet the continued demand for seasonal sites. Every year a few camping spots do open up. We do maintain a waitlist for those who are interested in becoming a seasonal lot holder. Each lot is supplied with a picnic table and fire pit. Well-maintained outdoor chemical toilets are strategically located throughout. Two beaches, 2 boat launch areas where family pets are welcome to cool off.
Big Bear Camp, located on the shores of Horwood Lake, is a family-operated business that has been drawing anglers from around across North America who come to our camp in pursuit of catching trophy walleye and Northern pike.
We are located approximately 1 hour east of Sault St. Marie. Big Basswood lake is a deep, crystal clear spring fed lake, with depths reaching 235'. It is home to lake trout, whitefish, burbot, small mouth bass and other fish species which makes it a fantastic fishing hot spot.
