For more than 50 years, Northern Portage Lodge has been a small family owned and operated business. Our main camp is nestled on Matchinameigus Lake and has a large, fully-furnished family/group cabin as well as a smaller rustic beach cabin. Welcome to Northern Light Resort, a fisherman’s paradise located on the picturesque waters of Northern Light Lake. We are located 120 km (75 miles) southwest of Thunder Bay and offer some of the best fishing in Northwestern Ontario.

Northern Light Lake is host to an abundant supply of trophy sized walleye, lake trout, smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch and whitefish and features breathtaking scenery with waterfalls, numerous beaches and pictographs.

On Lake Kagawong features both sunlit and shaded sites (water and electric hookups). Modern central washrooms, showers, laundry. Good fishing for bass, pike, perch and some pickerel. Boat launch, dockage and motorboats for rent. Ramp and docking. Store and live bait for you great fishing days in Lake Kagawong, the North Channel (boat launch at nearby Kagawong) or any of Manitoulin’s bounteous lakes and streams.

Noelville Family Resort is a quiet, family run seasonal trailer park and campground. We are situated on 46 acres of forest with approximately 1,400′ of beautiful Cambrian Shield waterfront including a 250′ clean sandy beach, boat launch and docking. Our park is very much a home away from home for many long-time seasonal regulars, as well as our vacationers and weekend visitors.

At Neys, you’ll enjoy one of the finest sand beaches on Lake Superior’s north shore. See Pic Island as it was immortalized by Lawren Harris of the famous Canadian artists, The Group of Seven. Paddle the pristine shoreline. Open from May to September, the park is a great option for day trips as well as overnights as it's equipped for RVs and any other kind of camping.
