Northern Ontario is famous for its great fishing and Poplar Ridge Lodge is no exception. We play our part by not putting excessive pressure on fish stocks. We have a maximum of 16 guests per week staying with us during the summer, and with such a large area of water, fish quantities and sizes have remained large.

On arrival we provide an orientation trip to ALL GUESTS on Net lake on our pontoon boat. Minnows and worms are sold at the lodge.

We love large groups of fishermen and every group gets their own tour of the lake to see the fishing hotspots as well as the areas to avoid! Ask us about our plans!

Pine Grove Motel is located 10-miles away from Soo Locks, 11-minutes' drive from Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and 27-minutes' drive from Sault Ste. Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee maker and provide air-conditioning. Pine Beach Lodge hosts 14 cabins that are fully modernized and sleep anywhere from 2 to 12 people.  We take pride in our cleanliness and are sure that you will feel comfortable in our cozy cottages.  Enjoy your meals in the lodge or cook them within the comfort of your own cabin.  Either way, your cabin will be ready for your arrival and equipped for an enjoyable stay.

All our cabins have strong cell service and free Wi-Fi is available at and around the library.

This year will be the first year for a community fire pit. We are very excited to bring a contained and safe space to have a campfire.
