Our Story

Kicking Mule Guest Ranch, has been a family-owned and operated business that's been kickin' for over 25 years on Manitoulin Island. From May to October, we've got 12 unique guest accommodations available, each with its own picnic table, fire pit, and sitting area. Our fully equipped outdoor summer kitchen features hot water on demand, propane cook stoves, and a BBQ grill, while our modern bathhouse boasts two individual washrooms, a shower, and an outdoor sink.

Kesagami Wilderness Lodge is the premier wilderness fly-in fishing lodge in Ontario. The lake has been ranked the number one trophy pike lake in Canada by “Outdoor Canada Magazine”. It has been ranked the 8th best fishing destination for all species. Walleye enthusiasts can expect catches of dozens and up to over 100 walleye on many days during the season.

Joli Voyageur Resort and Campground is a family-friendly destination located on Lake Nipissing in Lavigne, Ontario, approximately 4 hours north of Toronto. It offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, making it an ideal place for all ages to enjoy.

Jackfish Lake Cottages is located in Northern Ontario, along the north shore of Lake Superior on Highway 17. The cottages available for rent range from one to two bedroom units, fully equipped with kitchenettes, three-piece bathrooms, satellite television and wireless internet. Located in Gogama, Ontario, just off highway 144, J & L Lakeview Retreat provides a relaxing, reclusive and breathtaking place to stay. Resting on the shores of Lake Minisinakwa, this stunning retreat offers guests a panoramic view of untouched wilderness

Experience world class fishing for walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, brook trout, whitefish, and perch. We are located on the shores of secluded Hay Bay within the beautiful Chapleau Game Preserve. We have good highway access from Sault Ste. Marie, and fully equipped housekeeping cabins and RV sites. Our guests quickly become part of our extended family at Island View Camp. In addition to our cabins and campground we have a large building with a commercial kitchen that is suitable for hosting corporate events, workshops, or conferences.

Lake Mindemoya is the perfect place to enjoy a private lakeside cottage with your own dock, fire pit, and much more on Manitoulin Island - the largest fresh water island in the world. We offer fishing charters, paddling packages and sight seeing trips.  We’re also close to hiking trails, art galleries, local amenities, and yet far enough away to be quiet & peaceful! Try your hand at self-guided fishing, fully-guided fishing, swimming the clear waters around the Island, touring local attractions, or just curling up by the campfire with a good book.  

Welcome to HURON MOTOR LODGE on beautiful MANITOULIN ISLAND, the largest fresh water island in the world, located right across from the Chi-Cheemaun ferry. We are a family owned business which has been in operation since 1932. We have 21 rooms to choose from, some are suites, and some are chalets and of course regular motel rooms with either a king, a queen or two queen beds.
