Young’s Wilderness Camp is a fishing resort located in a secluded location on Lake of the Woods that has been creating memorable fishing trips since 1936. Young’s Wilderness Camp is a place where both serious anglers and families looking to relax can enjoy a peaceful and private outdoor experience. We offer fishing enthusiasts access to several species of fish, including Canadian muskies, pike, smallmouth bass and walleye. There are fish abound in our area, but we are also active in promoting conservation catching.
Just as it was when Charlie Clark discovered this location in 1946 and built the original few cabins on the remote and rugged shores of a driftwood-dotted beach, there are still no roads connecting us to the outside world. Between 1960 -1975 Sam Woods and his family established this camps reputation as one of the finest in the Algoma region.
