Within a 1/2 km of downtown Temagami on the shores of picturesque Cassels-Rabbit Lakes, is Northland Paradise Lodge. Directly in front of the lodge is the White Bear Old Growth Forest, a 2,000 acre (800 hectare) ancient ecosystem of giant red and white pines (up to 5 feet or 1.5 m in diameter). There is a variety of at least 25 different species of rare northern orchids.

This 18-hole championship golf course offers a challenge to all golfers with its par 72 layout. Although the club is private, golfers who hold memberships at any R.C.G.A. or N.G.A. recognized course are welcome to play by paying the required green fees.

The Michipicoten Golf Course is a not-for-profit public golf course located in Wawa, Ontario just down the hill from town. It is a picturesque full length 9 hole course with a creek flowing in front of the second green and the Magpie River running alongside Hole #9.

Memquisit Lodge dates back to the 1920’s, an addition built in the 60’s with an office & lounge. When you enter the lodge you become part of the thousands that have set foot at one point in time in this historical building. It features a dining room with a seating capacity of 50 guests, a comfortable and cozy lounge, a large kitchen, a confectionery, souvenir and gift shop, a game room with pool table, a kids activity centre and a large screened-in deck overlooking the bay. Great fishing, boating and even hunting are all here for you to enjoy.
