On Lake of the Woods, turn off Hwy 17 West on to Main Street, then right on to Beach Road. Beach includes picnic shelter, play structure, washrooms and docks for drop offs only.
Located in Kenora's Winkler Harbourfront Park and neighbouring the Whitecap Pavilion, this information centre is open during the summer months offering local tourism services. Additionally the MS Kenora sells ticket out of the Thistle Pavilion
Host to many local community events; facilities for private and public rentals in spring, summer and fall. During the winter there is a free public skating pad.
Volunteer run Ski Hill & chalet; family oriented place to take part in activities that have the potential for lifelong enjoyment and healthy living. Mount evergreen offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing and cross country skiing.
Behind the Kenora Recreation Centre is Kenora's urban skate park including a bowl, rails and other infrastructure for public to enjoy skateboarding and biking

With canoe, kayak, paddle board and pedal boat rentals you can head out on your own adventure. Additionally, Green Advenures offers guided canoe and fish trips, boat tours and hiking expeditions. On site, Green Adventures has a small rock wall.
The tugboat James McMillan now sits in drydock, testament to the site’s early history in the lumbering history of the area.
Take a drive out to Redditt, Ontario and see the only known bottle house in Northwestern Ontario! A must see, that's for sure!
