At French River Lodge our guests are surrounded by a spectacular view of Ox Bay, where the French and Pickerel Rivers join on their way to Georgian Bay. The main complex also includes a variety store to meet our guests’ every need.

The lodge shop carries everything from groceries and souvenirs, to internet access for fishing licenses, tackle, maps, and tourist information. We feel confident that you will find all you need on a holiday adventure with French River Lodge!

The Fox Lake shoreline is situated in an area steeped in history and is in close proximity to the Elbow on the Spanish River. At present, Fox Lake Resort provides rustic cabin accommodations in a natural wilderness setting. The resort is surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield and offers breathtaking views of Fox Lake.

We are a small camp located on Big Pine Lake, which is between Chapleau and Wawa, Ontario. We specialize in Outstanding Walleye Fishing and Northern Pike Fishing as well as Black Bear Hunting, Wolf Hunting, Grouse Hunting and Moose Hunting.

We are a premier, drive-to, light housekeeping, fishing and hunting lodge. Fully modern, non-smoking cabins and chalets. Tucked away in an untouched wilderness setting, only 3 hours north-east of Sault St. Marie and 1 hour south of Chapleau. Small, cozy, family-run lodge with all the amenities of home. American Plan, housekeeping, camping (sorry, no hook-ups), hiking trails, ATV and snowmobile trails, swimming beach and many other activities for the whole family. Flame Lake has walleye, whitefish and northern pike, with countless more lakes all around us. Exceptional black bear, moose and small game hunting. We are off-grid, powered by a state-of-the-art wind/solar system.

Our main lodge, located 25 miles south of Chapleau, sits on the shores of beautiful Five Mile Lake. We have 5 fully equipped cottages and offer 16 foot steel boats, each with swivel seats, paddles, anchors, safety kits and reliable 9.8 H.P. Tohatsu Motors with upgrades to 15 H.P. available. Five Mile is a fertile body of water offering excellent Walleye fishing, along with Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike.
