The Lake of the Woods Museum was established in 1964 and tells the stories of the people who have made Kenora and Lake of the Woods their home from the beginning of time to today.  The museum features artifacts and stories related to the history of Kenora, the Lake of the Woods, and our many surrounding communities.  From pre-history to the town’s wild west beginnings, the Lake of the Woods Museum is sure to entertain and educate.  

Lake of the Woods Lodge is located on a remote, private 35 acre Island, only 5 miles from Nestor Falls, Ontario, Canada.
