Bowhey's resort in West Nipissing is the perfect destination for a northern vacation. The resort is clean, comfortable and entertaining, offering a range of activities for guests. You can rent a boat or bring your own and spend the day fishing. Alternatively, you can relax at the resort and take advantage of the heated in-ground pool, free use of pedal boats, canoes and kayaks, and the sandy beach. In the evening, you can enjoy a campfire at your private fire pit, fish off our docks at the marina, or dine at our Lakeside Café, which offers great food.

Our units come fully equipped with a kitchen that includes a fridge, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and dishes. You can drink the water from any tap, and there is a 3-piece bathroom available. You can watch Shaw Direct Satellite on HD flat screen TVs, and we offer free Wi-Fi. Additionally, each unit has baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, with wood available on site.

The resort features both modern and rustic cottages all with beautiful lake frontage. All of the cottages have unimpeded views of the lake and are only steps away from the shore. Lake Manitou is famous for its excellent lake trout, small-mouth bass, jumbo perch, pike, splake and whitefish. It’s a great place to fish, no matter your skill.
