The Ojibway and Cree Cultural Centre is a non-profit organization established in 1975 under the direction of Grand Council Treaty #9, now known as the Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN). The centre is funded by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) through its Cultural Education Centres Program. The Ojibway and Cree Cultural Centre is managed by a board of directors who represent each tribal council area of NAN.

Our ice fishing season runs from January 1 to March 15 and include bait (1 doz per person) in a heated Ice Bungalow. Our fleet of Ice Bungalows vary in size and can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 6 guests. Also available is a daily ice hut which can be rented from 8am to 5pm. The Ice Bungalows are equipped to prepare and cook meals and have washroom facilities. The Ice Bungalows are equipped with propane direct vent furnaces and 1 has a cozy wood stove for those who prefer the ambiance of a wood fire!

Located in Ville-Marie, Témiscamingue, the company specializes in the production of fine chocolate and pastries. Its main economic driver is chocolate processing. In part from its store sales, but also from the many retailers and the wide distribution of its products in supermarkets (chocolate bars, port and dessert cups). In 2018, a third floor with view on the lake was added to the building. As a result of these major improvements, Les Suites de la chocolaterie offer high quality rooms for short term and vacation rentals.

Located in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, the Obadjiwan-Fort-Témiscamingue National Historic Site witnessed the presence of the Indigenous people about 6,000 years ago and was the scene of commercial rivalries. This former fur trading post is at the heart of regional history and is well worth a visit.
