For over 50 years, the French River Trading Post has been a destination and tradition for travellers of Highway 69. The Trading Post has expanded from a small gift shop on a gravel road, to a thriving hospitality business complete with dining and world class service.

The French River Golf & Country Club is located on the shore of the French River; however, it does not have any water hazards. The course features several sand bunkers throughout. From the green on the 5th hole, there is an excellent view of the French River.
