Terrace Downtown Murals

Start your mural walk at the intersection of Park Ave. and Emerson St. where you can find three of Terrace's largest murals. There are all sorts of murals, public art pieces and art banners peppered throughout the downtown. Terrace Wolfpack Sculptures

Located at the first viewpoint on the popular Terrace Mountain recreational trail, this art installation includes six metal wolves overlooking the spectacular Skeena River. This light hike up to see the wolves takes about 15 minutes and it’s worth every second of the approach. Don’t forget to pack your camera – photos of the wolves never disappoint, no matter the weather.

Mills Grills

Before heading back to the cottages for a well-deserved rest from the sun and fun, head to Mills Grills for a delicious dinner out. Tracey and the team make a mean BLT! A quick stop into Cunningham's Store for some snacks would make for a perfect movie night. 

Fosters Lake Beach

Foster Lake Park is known for its scenic view, sandy beach, cool waters and playground area. The shaded shelters with picnic tables make for the perfect post-swim, lunchtime spot. The outdoor privy's and change room are a bonus too! ;)

The Pinecone Forest Nature Sanctuary

Head to Pinecone Forest for a hike and some peaceful time in a canoe. This piece of wilderness is situated along the York River, where you will embark on a guided canoe trip to Conroys Marsh, a provincially protected wetland brimming with breathtaking views and aquatic wildlife. Whether surrounded by towering pines or paddling a sparkling river, you will be in awe of Mother Nature's rugged beauty! 

Madawaska Kanu Centre

Kickstart your day with family rafting and lunch at the Madawaska Kanu Centre. Family owned and operated for three generations, the Kerkchoff and now Van Wick's passion for kayaking has made this a paddling mecca since 1968. Get ready to paddle and make unforgettable memories on the river!

York River Cottages
