We operate the resort on a year-round basis having seven winterized two and three-bedroom cottages. We not only cater to the vacationing tourist, but also our location offers the working persons a home away from home. Telephone, Satellite TV, and Wireless High-Speed Internet are all available. Hot spots are free to use. We also offer seasonally service trailer sites. White River is the hometown of Winnie-the-Pooh and the town itself holds a great deal of Canadian history as it was founded in 1885 by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The White River Heritage Museum features many early CPR artifacts, household articles that tell the story of the lives of early settlers and of course, the history of Winnie-the-Pooh.
