The Rainy Lake Nordic Ski Club trails are located in Northwestern Ontario just outside of Fort Frances, and are open to the public. The trails cover 15 km of groomed skate & classic tracks and 5 km of snowshoe trails. Rental equipment (self-serve) is available on site. All ages are welcome.

Trowbridge Falls

Trowbridge Falls is northeast of Thunder Bay across from Centennial Park. The falls are a smaller set, closer to the size of rapids. Current River runs over the rocks that create the falls. The Trowbridge Falls is connected to Centennial Park by a bridge and Cascades Conservation Area to the north. These falls offer a beautiful view of the river and surrounding forest area; providing a relaxing location after a long hike or hot day.

Volunteer run Ski Hill & chalet; family oriented place to take part in activities that have the potential for lifelong enjoyment and healthy living. Mount evergreen offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing and cross country skiing.

The Vernon Nature Area is a unique area that links three very diverse vegetation zones found within Canada. These designated trails will acquaint you with the transition zone between the Boreal Forest Region, the St. Lawrence-Great Lake Forest Region and the Prairie Grasslands.

Mount Fairweather has been a quality destination for skiing and snowboarding since it's opening in 1967 with 10 runs and a 106m (350ft) vertical rise. A fun and affordable destination for people of all ages and skill levels there's a rope tow lift for beginners runs and a T-bar lift for more advanced runs.

The Wasi Cross Country Ski Club is a small club located about 20 minutes south of North Bay, Ontario – close to Callander and Astorville. We have 43 km of ski trails and 8 km of snowshoe trails meandering through a mix of hardwood and conifers. The ski trails are classically groomed and track set and include 7½ km of double-track. Access skiing or snowshoeing or both on your membership or day pass.

The Tri Town Ski and Snowboard Club originated in the 1960’s and at that time was called The St. Bernard Ski Club. It was started and managed by a local ski enthusiast by the name of Mike Koshilka. Many local families enjoyed the opportunity to make downhill skiing part of their winter activities. The Poma lift provided reliable transportation from the bottom of the hill to the top where skiers enjoyed the spectacular view of Lorrain Valley and beautiful Lake Temiskaming.
