The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) was established in 1972 by the Province of Ontario and ten municipalities that are members of the organization. As a non-profit environmental group that operates on a watershed basis, NBMCA is committed to preserving, rehabilitating, developing, and managing sustainable natural resources. Whether you're interested in hiking, cycling, skiing, or paddling a historic canoe route, you can explore our natural heritage and participate in environmental festivals and special events.
