This colourful mural by artist Mikayla Seaton depicts Terrace's iconic Sleeping Beauty mountain, a field of poppies and silhouttes paying homage to Canada's veterans.

This impressive mural sits at one of the gateways to downtown Terrace and marks the beginning of the downtown arts space marked by murals, public art installations and art banners throughout the downtown core.

Terrace Wolfpack

The hike up to the Terrace Wolfpack is a short 10-15 minute hike. Feeling more adventurous? Return to the main trail for a challenging hike to an upper viewpoint.

It's toad-ally amazing!

Terrace-based metal artist Steve Rogers created this incredible, five-foot tall, steel public art piece depicting a Western Toad. The giant steel sculpture is located on the the south end of Ferry Island - you can find it by walking the western trails or drive down the access road to the south parking area to walk a short distance to the statue. 

While you are walking the trails of Ferry Island, keep your eyes peeled for faces and forest creatures carved into the rugged bark of the island's Cottonwood trees. See how many you can find!

Carvings on Howe Creek Trail

Carved by local artist JJ Jung, this huge wood carving shows an eagle in a nest with her young. Nestled along the stunning Howe Creek walking trail - this is an easy walking trail for all abilities. Along the way you'll discover this art installation and a wooden bench with a giant carved mushrooom too. 

Kleanza Creek Provincial Park

This beautiful provincial park is nestled along Kleanza Creek and offers day-use sites, campsites and features a short 1-km hike to a spectacular lookout at the top of the falls. Don't forget your camera!

Terrace Downtown Murals

Start your mural walk at the intersection of Park Ave. and Emerson St. where you can find three of Terrace's largest murals. There are all sorts of murals, public art pieces and art banners peppered throughout the downtown.
