Laurentide Golf Club
This 18 hole golf course is located in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, right along the Sturgeon River. Since 1965 Laurentide Golf Club has been known for its immaculate bent grass greens and generous, rolling fairways of bluegrass. Laurentide Golf Club was originally designed by former hockey star and former Member of Parliament, Moe Mantha, Sr. The beautiful Northern Ontario scenery is accompanied by a welcoming staff and dining lounge managed by Kae Mantha. We are proud of being in our 56th year of being family owned and family run.
Lake Huron Fish & Chips
On the south shore of Manitoulin Island, Providence Bay’s Lake Huron Fish & Chips is a local hot spot. The resto/café is well known for its fresh-caught fish, locally sourced beef burgers, and its vegetarian sandwich option.
Lac Seul Lodge
At the Lac Seul Lodge base camp we have 9 modern cabins and 2 modern cottages available. These are two, three and four bedroom cottages and cabins that are large and bright with two bedrooms, bathroom, living rooms, kitchen and screened veranda. In addition to our main base camp, we own two remote boat-in outpost cabins on Lac Seul. Roughing it isn't so rough at our remote boat-in outpost cabins! They are well equipped and the grounds and equipment are well maintained and clean.
Kettle Lakes Provincial Park
There are twenty-two kettle lakes in the area that were formed by glaciers. These lakes are deep and are fed by springs. The forest in the area is mainly Jack Pine Boreal Forest. If you enjoy fishing, you'll be glad to know that many of the lakes are stocked with Rainbow and Brook Trout, making for excellent fishing. Additionally, there are fourteen kilometers of biking trails to explore. For families, there are also interpretive programs available.
Kap-Kig-Iwan Provincial Park
The rushing Englehart River plunges down white-water rapids, over several cascades and waterfalls in a picturesque valley. Surrounded by forest, a convenient and pleasant campground sits high above the river, located just off Highway 11, two kilometers south of Englehart. Many walking, photography, bird-watching and hiking opportunities in the Englehart River valley
Kagawong Municipal Marina
Kagawong marina facilities include the Aus Hunt Marina (formerly the “government dock”) and the Small Craft Basin, adjacent to the Old Mill building; Jim Fowlie manages both. Open from mid-May to September.

A shopping experience that offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables and seasonal fruits, honey & honey products, maple syrup and maple syrup products, delicious baking, stone ground flour, alpaca yarns for knitters and weavers as well as socks, mitts, local meats, farm fresh eggs and northern Ontario cheeses.
