Programs offered are Lifesaving Society Swim Lessons, Aquafitness, Adult Swim Lessons, Swim Zone. Swimming Pool offers Open Swim, Family Swim, Lunch Lengths, Teen Swim and Adult Swim! The Atikokan Recreation and Wellness Centre was opened in 2018 when a multi-million dollar project to connect and renovate the existing Atikokan Municipal Swimming Pool and Community Arena was completed. The result of this project is a modern, fully accessible facility with a 14,580 square foot ice surface, 25m long pool and multi-purpose room perfect for rentals.
The Nipigon Public Pool is a very family friendly pool with certified and trained lifeguards all of which were also taught in the same pool they are now guarding. It is outdoors and a great place to have birthdays and other get togethers during the summer. They also offer monthly and season passes, swimming lessons, and rentals.
Harry Lake Lodge offers a unique wilderness fishing experience in a pristine remote setting. The resort is accessed by a paved road to the lot line and there is 132 feet of floating dock with boat launch area. For winter fun, we also have two overnight Ice Shanty's which are heated and sleep six. Winter fishing in comfort.
