Happy Land Campground has been owned and operated by the Altmann family for 55 years. We pride ourselves on running a clean, quiet, well-supervised park. Campers who have previously experienced the quality of our park return time and time again to stay with us while in the Thunder Bay area. We are located on Hwy. 11/17, just 16 miles West of Thunder Bay and 1 1/2 miles East of Kakabeka Falls.

The Dorion Museum is located in Dorion in Ontario’s Superior Country. Dorion is home to one of the most notable natural attractions on the Lake Superior Circle Tour – Ouimet Canyon. When you visit the modest Dorion Museum you quickly learn not only about it’s history but of the sense of community and the people that make it so great. Every Sunday, June 12th - September 11th, 1 to 4 pm or call and make an appointment with any Committee Member.

The Birchville Motel is conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Highway, one hour east of Thunder Bay. A day-use park with a beautiful sandy beach, Batchawana Bay Provincial Park is an ideal spot for a family day at the beach. The drive along Hwy 17 North offers outstanding of Lake Superior and the rugged landscape. This park is open from mid-May to October for day use only.
