Cambrian Players has been offering community theatre in Thunder Bay since 1949. We operate out of Cambrian Players theatre on Spring Street, and look forward to many more years of theatre for the love of it.

At the heart of our community, on 1 Paul Shaffer Drive, stands the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium an impressive 1,500 seat performing arts centre. Since its grand opening on October 16, 1985, the TBCA has been host to countless events and millions of patrons.

Magnus Theatre

Magnus Theatre is Northwestern Ontario’s only professional theatre, a not-for-profit registered charity, and a full member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT). For nearly 50 years, our well-crafted productions have earned us a reputation as a leading arts organization in the region and beyond.

Sault Theatre Workshop

Sault Theatre Workshop gives you the opportunity to take part in the excitement of live theatre. Just attending plays or by taking part you will be learning from veteran actors, directors, designers and technicians with years of experience. We bring in professionals for workshops and take part in festivals around the province. You can be part of the teams for each production and experience the thrill of bringing a play to life. Develop your skills as an actor, a technician, a crafts person or director. And have fun doing it!

Classic Theatre Cobalt (CTC) is a non-for-profit corporation founded in 2003. Since then, CTC has continued to provide live music and entertainment events each year including theatre, music, comedy, dance, and so much more! In "Ontario's Most Historic Town" of Cobalt, the theatre has remained to be a theatre from the silver boom of the early 1900's. Our facility has become a cultural hub where we present many Canadian artists within our intimate theatre space of 250 soft-seats which was built in 1926.

Debajehmujig Creation Centre

Debajehmujig was the first - and remains the only - professional theatre company located on a Reserve in Canada. The organization was founded by Shirlee Cheechoo, Blake Debassige and a group of like-minded colleagues in the summer of 1984 in West Bay (M'Chigeeng First Nation) Manitoulin Island, Ontario. In August of 1989, the company moved to Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve, where it's headquarters remains to this day.
