Welcome to Northern Light Resort, a fisherman’s paradise located on the picturesque waters of Northern Light Lake. We are located 120 km (75 miles) southwest of Thunder Bay and offer some of the best fishing in Northwestern Ontario.
Northern Light Lake is host to an abundant supply of trophy sized walleye, lake trout, smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch and whitefish and features breathtaking scenery with waterfalls, numerous beaches and pictographs.
North Star Lodge
North Star Lodge is located at the end of HWY 609 in the heart of NW Ontario's Sunset Country. It is only 4 hours north of International Falls, MN. The resort has been and still is one of the only fishing resorts on the lake. North Star Lodge is a family-operated business intent on offering a memorable fishing experience to all who visit. We offer fly quality fishing with drive-in access. We have housekeeping and American plans available.
North Spirit Lake Lodge
Our cabins are built of rustic log in the northwoods style. Each one faces the lake with French windows offering a breathtaking view of the water. All are completely equipped with electric lights, hot and cold running water, oil heat, shower, flush toilet, lavatory and single beds. Sheets and warm blankets are supplied to keep you comfortable even on cool nights.
North Shore Lodge Ltd.
North Shore Lodge is at the centre of this northern Ontario fishing mecca. Located at the east end of the main basin of the lake, North Shore Lodge is at the hub of Eagle’s fantastic fishing. From the door of your cabin, you will be able to look at some of the very best fishing water in creation. You don’t need to go far to catch fish. But since North Shore lodge is centrally located on Eagle Lake, you can also explore the many arms and bays this sprawling lake offers with relative ease.
Normandy Lodge
Located 30 miles north of Wawa and 30 miles south of White River. Fish on 10 mile long Kabenung Lake for tasty walleye, fighting northern pike and smallmouth bass. You can also try fishing for Brook Trout, Lake Trout or Whitefish, all close by. Choose from 14 cabins, which overlook the lake; pick one that fits your budget with either Housekeeping or American Plan. The cabins have fully equipped kitchens, one, two or three bedrooms, electric or propane heat and two, three or four piece bathrooms. German style meals, camp store, and limited hunting packages are also available to you.
Nokomis Trail
Discover the beauty of the 4.2-kilometer loop trail near Wawa, Ontario. Rated moderately challenging, traverse typically takes around 1 hour and 21 minutes. This trail is a favorite among hikers, offering a serene experience amidst nature. While popular, quieter moments can be found during off-peak hours. The prime visiting season spans from May to October, welcoming leashed dogs to join the adventure.

A trip to Nipissing Lodge will not disappoint. A short five minute boat ride brings you to our Lodge which provides our guests with the best of two worlds. The surrounding islands provide seclusion, while accessibility to the main lake is readily available, catering to all of your angling preferences.
