In August of 1989, the company moved to Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve, where it's headquarters remains to this day.

The Township of Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional is home to the Loon Dollar Monument. The monument is located on Highway 17B in the Village of Echo Bay. The structure was constructed and dedicated in 1992 to Mr. Robert R. Carmichael, the artist responsible for the creation of the Loon Dollar design who was a resident of the Township.
