This family-run gem is on a limestone ridge overlooking Lake Mindemoya. The hotel rooms are well-appointed and overlook the lake where loon calls can be heard each morning. Debajehmujig was the first - and remains the only - professional theatre company located on a Reserve in Canada. The organization was founded by Shirlee Cheechoo, Blake Debassige and a group of like-minded colleagues in the summer of 1984 in West Bay (M'Chigeeng First Nation) Manitoulin Island, Ontario. In August of 1989, the company moved to Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve, where it's headquarters remains to this day.

The Township of Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional is home to the Loon Dollar Monument. The monument is located on Highway 17B in the Village of Echo Bay. The structure was constructed and dedicated in 1992 to Mr. Robert R. Carmichael, the artist responsible for the creation of the Loon Dollar design who was a resident of the Township.
