The Sagamok Anishnawbek Traditional Pow Wow is an annual event held on the Pic River First Nation Reserve, specifically at the Sagamok Spiritual Grounds, during the second weekend of July.

We are excited to announce that, as an Indigenous Center owned and operated by the Peel Board of Education, we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Powwow! This vibrant event will take place during the day, with the Grand Entry scheduled for noon. We look forward to celebrating our culture and community together!

The annual Powwow is a celebration of our traditions, a reflection of our culture, and a time to honour our heritage. This gathering brings us together in unity, strength, and harmony.

Whether fishing is your passion or you’re a first-timer (or not even there for the fishing at all!), Georgian Bay Fishing Charter Wass Tours will take you to some of the best fishing locations and scenic spots around Manitoulin Island and Killarney.
Our ice fishing season runs from January 1 to March 15 and include bait (1 doz per person) in a heated Ice Bungalow. Our fleet of Ice Bungalows vary in size and can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 6 guests. Also available is a daily ice hut which can be rented from 8am to 5pm. The Ice Bungalows are equipped to prepare and cook meals and have washroom facilities. The Ice Bungalows are equipped with propane direct vent furnaces and 1 has a cozy wood stove for those who prefer the ambiance of a wood fire!
