Grand Entry's: Sat 12 pm & 7 pm, Sun 12 pm. Drum Competition: $5,000, $4,000, $3,000, & other $1,000.

Experience the traditions of the Chippewas of Georgina Island at the 2026 Pow Wow – Spirit of the Drum. This two-day celebration welcomes everyone to enjoy powerful drumming, traditional dancing, singing, authentic crafts and food vendors. Experience the warmth of community in a family-friendly atmosphere.

This one-day non-competitive celebration of Indigenous heritage features vendors, dancers, and singers from the Waterloo region and beyond.

Save the date. The 29th Annual Community Pow Wow will feature drummers, dancers, and artisans. It will take place at Dufferin Grove Park in Toronto. More details will be announced.

Join us as we celebrate our culture with drumming, dancing, arts & crafts, native plant garden, and exhibits. There will be entertainment on the night of August 21st.
