The wonders of Mashkinonje are most familiar to field naturalists from North Bay and Sudbury, as well as to botany and nature-based tourism students from the local colleges and university. Mashkinonje Provincial Park encompasses a diverse system of wetlands that supports all major wetland types, including marshes, bogs, swamps, fens, and ponds. These wetlands are interspersed with undulating granite ridges, covering over 2000 hectares along the West Arm of Lake Nipissing.

The private one and two bedroom cabins come with a double bed in each bedroom, full size kitchens, bathroom, living area and porches. The ‘mostly treed’ waterfront is just across the Shore Road, a low traffic dead end country road.
