Memquisit Lodge dates back to the 1920’s, an addition built in the 60’s with an office & lounge. When you enter the lodge you become part of the thousands that have set foot at one point in time in this historical building. It features a dining room with a seating capacity of 50 guests, a comfortable and cozy lounge, a large kitchen, a confectionery, souvenir and gift shop, a game room with pool table, a kids activity centre and a large screened-in deck overlooking the bay. Great fishing, boating and even hunting are all here for you to enjoy.

The wonders of Mashkinonje are most familiar to field naturalists from North Bay and Sudbury, as well as to botany and nature-based tourism students from the local colleges and university. Mashkinonje Provincial Park encompasses a diverse system of wetlands that supports all major wetland types, including marshes, bogs, swamps, fens, and ponds. These wetlands are interspersed with undulating granite ridges, covering over 2000 hectares along the West Arm of Lake Nipissing.

Mashkinonje Resort is located on a beautiful and secluded 10 acre property on the picturesque west arm of Lake Nipissing.  We face west for gorgeous sunsets and we are surrounded by crown land in all directions.  Trails from our property lead directly into Mashkinonje Provincial Park.
