Kickstart your day with family rafting and lunch at the Madawaska Kanu Centre. Family owned and operated for three generations, the Kerkchoff and now Van Wick's passion for kayaking has made this a paddling mecca since 1968. Get ready to paddle and make unforgettable memories on the river!

This is a great spot for hiking, picnicking, canoeing, and (during spring and fall) catching the spawning run for Rainbow Trout and Chinook salmon. If the weather’s nice, spend the afternoon at Sauble Beach, the second-longest freshwater beach in Canada and one of the best places in the country to catch a sunset.
Overlooking Lake Huron, this destination offers visitors more than 10 km of sandy beaches, 10 distinct walking trails, and 14 km of bike trails (or, during winter months, 38 km of groomed ski trails). Those looking for something more high-adventure can also rent canoes, hydro bikes, paddleboards, and more.
This exciting new facility offers some of the best waterfront views in Sault Ste. Marie, including the licenced Zibii Cafe with indoor and outdoor sitting space. There are also canoes, kayaks, and standup paddleboards available for rent.
Scotty's Beach is fun all summer! If you are looking for a quiet beach for yourself, this is not it! There are boaters, people with PWC, houseboaters. Scotty's on Lake of the Woods is all about having a good time hanging out with the people on the beach.
It's approximately a 10-15 minutes boat ride to Scotty's Island.
The beautiful, sandy Terrace Bay Beach is your launching point onto the mighty waters of Lake Superior, the caribou trodden archipelago of the Slate Islands Provincial Park and the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area! By day, the beach is a fantastic spot to watch the waves or enjoy the grande view of the Slate Islands. At night, the beach’s dark skies make it a perfect spot for stargazing, and spotting the northern lights and milky way! Built in 1903, Slate Islands Lighthouse is located within Slate Island Provincial Park, approximately 7.5 mi (12 km) south of Terrace Bay.
