The festival’s mandate was to share poetry in public places, so events are held throughout Temiskaming Shores and Cobalt. We’ve created a literary/arts festival where our tri-cultural community comes together to celebrate its past and present creativity through poetry, music, and art.

This colourful mural by artist Mikayla Seaton depicts Terrace's iconic Sleeping Beauty mountain, a field of poppies and silhouttes paying homage to Canada's veterans.
This impressive mural sits at one of the gateways to downtown Terrace and marks the beginning of the downtown arts space marked by murals, public art installations and art banners throughout the downtown core.
The hike up to the Terrace Wolfpack is a short 10-15 minute hike. Feeling more adventurous? Return to the main trail for a challenging hike to an upper viewpoint.
Terrace-based metal artist Steve Rogers created this incredible, five-foot tall, steel public art piece depicting a Western Toad. The giant steel sculpture is located on the the south end of Ferry Island - you can find it by walking the western trails or drive down the access road to the south parking area to walk a short distance to the statue.
While you are walking the trails of Ferry Island, keep your eyes peeled for faces and forest creatures carved into the rugged bark of the island's Cottonwood trees. See how many you can find!
