Pickle Ball - Kenora

Pickleball

Local Pickle Ball courts located in Garrow Park. Pickleball is a racket sport that blends, tennis, badminton and ping pong. The dimensions of a Pickleball court equals approximately one badminton court or a 1/4 size of a tennis court. The sports equipment is a perforated whiffle ball, and a short wooden/composite paddle with a rectangular head.

Garrow Park

Garrow Beach

Garrow Park is located on Birchwood Cresent off Rabbit Lake Road. It is home to Kenora Rowing Club, Garrow beach with accessible entry via Mobi Mat, docks, outdoor exercise stations, a picnic area, an accessible play structure, restrooms, pickleball courts and the Rabbit Lake Trail which is a paved accessible trail.

Keewatin Boat Launch

In front of the Keewatin arena there is daytime and overnight parking along with trailer parking and access to a boat launch which feed into Lake of the Woods once under the Keewatin bridge. 

Moncrief Construction Sports Centre and Boat Launch

Recreation Centre

At the rear of the Kenora Recreation Centre there is daytime and overnight parking along with oversized vehicle parking (including trailers) and access to a boat launch on Laurenson's Creek which feeds in Lake of the Woods immediately after the bridge. This boat launch is also across from our local Safeway grocery store. 

Rabbit Lake Skating Trail

Skating Trail

Rabbit Lake Skating Trail was first opened in the 2020 winter season. This is a plowed skating loop on Rabbit Lake sponsored by the Kenora Hospitality Alliance. This trail is in a convenient location for the Kenora community and visitors.

Musky Point

Marina

Musky point is a fully operational marina, located in downtown Kenora. Including full service gas pumps, ice, garbage drop-off, water toys, drinks, snacks, minnows and other boating accessories. 

Keewatin Beach

Keewatin Beach

On Lake of the Woods, turn off Hwy 17 West on to Main Street, then right on to Beach Road. Beach includes picnic shelter, play structure, washrooms and docks for drop offs only.
