We sell from our farm gate all year or at the Johnson Farmers' Market in Desbarats, ON, on Saturdays from June until the Thanksgiving weekend in October. We have other products besides syrup: candy, butter, sugar, granola, etc., all made with our pure maple syrup.
As part of Roberta Bondar Park at 65 Foster Drive, this transient boater facility offers 38 slips and 450 feet of dock-face, all serviced with power and water hook-ups. With experience dating back to the mid 70's as bush pilots and a lifetime of fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling in and around the Kenora and Minaki areas and north, their expertise in their field is matched only by their devotion to sustaining and preserving the rich outdoors expeditions that they are accustomed to.
The Visitor Information Centre is housed in the Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre. It carries maps of local areas, including the locations of businesses, as well as various outposts and lodges.
Visit the beautiful Dawson Trail Campground in Quetico Park located on French Lake. The Chippewa and Ojibwa camping areas have over 100 campsites and 3 rustic cabins. There are laundry facilities, showers, comfort stations and parking facilities. There is a beautiful beach as well as many hiking trails. There is approximately 30 kms of groomed hiking, skiing or snowshoe trails to use in the winter at Dawson Trail.

Potholes Provincial Park is a remarkable geological site on the Kinniwabi River east of Wawa on Hwy 101. A short interpretive trail takes you through a garden-like setting in the Boreal Forest. Distinctive “potholes” in the bedrock were naturally formed by glacial meltwaters 10,000 years ago and water still flows through these potholes.
Stay for a picnic and soak up the scenery, then follow a short interpretive trail that leads to the potholes, sedges and flowering plants growing along the riverbank.
A gorgeous bird’s-eye view is always appealing, which is why when Nipigon was planning its waterfront development project, a lookout tower made it to the must-do list.
