Portage Lodge, located on beautiful Lake of the Woods, has a vacation area of 65,000 miles of shoreline and over 14,000 islands that can take you on all day adventures.  The area also known as Sunset Country is also known for its great angling opportunities... so you won't have any problem finding your own quiet fishing spot.  And the opportunity for that once in a lifetime trophy catch is always there!

Portage Bay Lodge is one of Northern Ontario's oldest operating campgrounds. Built in 1947 by the Chitaroni Brothers, today it features the Main Lodge, a Marina, 10 log cabins and over 50 trailer sites all overlooking the beautiful Montreal River /Portage Bay.

Northern Ontario is famous for its great fishing and Poplar Ridge Lodge is no exception. We play our part by not putting excessive pressure on fish stocks. We have a maximum of 16 guests per week staying with us during the summer, and with such a large area of water, fish quantities and sizes have remained large.

Located on Highway 580 just East of the Community of Beardmore, this municipal park offers visitors 125 campsites, 45 of which offer electrical and water hook-ups a wealth of recreational opportunities including swimming, hiking, boating and fishing, as well as some of the most stunning scenery the Greenstone region has to offer. Just 5 kilometers from the Park is High Hill Harbour, a docking and service station for commercial and pleasure crafts including fueling and pump out facilities.

On arrival we provide an orientation trip to ALL GUESTS on Net lake on our pontoon boat. Minnows and worms are sold at the lodge.
