We operate the resort on a year-round basis having seven winterized two and three-bedroom cottages. We not only cater to the vacationing tourist, but also our location offers the working persons a home away from home. Many businesses, government, and corporate workers find our cottages the perfect setting for long stays when working in the Greenstone area. Telephone, Satellite TV, and Wireless High-Speed Internet are all available. Hot spots are free to use. We also offer seasonally service trailer sites. For one low price, you can have a fully serviced trailer site open for the summer.

Wabakimi Wilderness Park is a huge expanse of unspoiled wilderness representing the best representations of boreal forests. Wildlife includes rare and elusive woodland caribou, moose, wolves, bald and golden eagles, otters, marten, fisher, wolverine… and the list goes on and on! Fishing is superb for walleye, huge northern pike, and trout…both lakers and speckled trout (way too big to call them “brookies”). It has many dozens of canoe routes, both flatwater and whitewater. No matter your age, we can keep you in wonderful new canoe routes for your entire life!

Twin Lakes Outfitters & Wilderness Camps, based near Nakina, Ontario, offer outdoor enthusiasts the chance to experience some of the most remote and pristine wilderness in Northern Ontario. The operation features a network of 20 outpost camps on 17 different fly-in lakes. These camps are renowned for their outstanding fishing, particularly for Walleye and Northern Pike, with trophy-sized catches regularly reported. Some lakes also offer excellent opportunities for Brook Trout, Lake Trout, and Jumbo Perch fishing.

Thunder Oak Cheese Farm is the first farm in Ontario that produces Gouda cheese. This creamy Dutch cheese has long been a favourite of cheese lovers around the world and the Schep Family has been making it in Thunder Bay since 1995. Our award winning Thunder Oak Gouda is a natural product made with fresh milk from the Schep’s own Holstein cows. There are no preservatives or added colouring in our cheese!
