Superior North Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) is a not-for-profit corporation, governed by volunteer members and staffed by professionals. Community Futures (CF) is a national program that supports grassroots community economic development (CED) by allowing local citizens to make decisions for the benefit of their rural communities.

Conveniently located on the Trans-Canada Hwy 11/17 in Nipigon, Ontario Canada. 5 minutes away from downtown Nipigon and 1 hour east of Thunder Bay. Camping with all the conveniences at the gateway to the great outdoors North of Superior 45+ sites, some in wooded areas, some along Stillwater Creek, some open and grassy.

Local Gas station is your one stop shop for all your travelling needs. We offer variety of snacks, drinks, gas, ice, propane, tobacco products, lotto, air pump, gift cards and seasonally we have ice cream and slush puppies. There is also a Robins drive thru located in the building with delicious hot coffee and a variety of other beverages along side with a variety of donuts and breakfast sandwiches.

Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is named for distinctive mesas that resemble a reclining giant. This park offers 80 kilometres of hiking and mountain biking trails and terrific views of Lake Superior from Top of Giant Trail and Thunder Bay Lookout.

Lovingly maintained free standing cabins originally built in the 1920s. Each unit has its own bathroom with a shower and parking alongside. Bedding, towels, soap, and complimentary ear plugs are provided. We are 100% pet friendly and we charge no extra fee for your furry companions. All cabins have access to a state of the art WiFi system that provides the fastest possible speeds for a non-fibre optic connection. Please be aware our open season is from May 15th to October 15th.
