The Trout Forest Music Festival takes place at the Ear Falls Waterfront Park. With Trout Lake Forest as the backdrop, this festival features workshops, a creative arts selection, and great food. The audience camps on historic English River (part of Red Lake's historic Gold Rush Trail) and is treated to late-night jam sessions around campfires. Come and join the fun!

The Red Lake Winter Carnival is held on the Family Weekend each February. Many organizations spend a great deal of time organizing family friendly events. There is fun for all ages with dog sled rides, a pancake breakfast, an ice pond hockey tournament, a dance with live entertainment and so much more. Don't miss it!

Red Lake Fall Classic

The Red Lake Fall Classic is a catch and release walleye tournament which is held the first weekend in September each year, and takes place on the Red Lake Chain of Lakes. There is also a junior tournament for the younger kids to enjoy. Fun for the whole family!

Rahill Beach

Located just off Highway 125 between Balmertown and Cochenour on Red Lake. Rahill Beach features a well-maintained sandy beach for swimming, a beach volleyball area, and tennis courts. This park has a picnic area that includes several gazebos. Flush toilets are available on site.

Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO World Heritage Site

Pimachiowin Aki is the first and only 'mixed' cultural and natural UNESCO World Heritage site in Canada. It is the largest protected area in the North American boreal shield. Located on either side of the Manitoba-Ontario border, within the site's boundaries are Manitoba's Atikaki Provincial Park, and Ontario's Woodland Caribou Provincial Park and Eagle-Snowshoe Conservation Reserve.The Bloodvein River, located in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park, is designated a world heritiage river and is part of the Pimachiowin Aki.
